You can always and should get another adjuster's estimate. Also, don't always take it for granted that the insurance company is referring you to a reputable shop. Remember that the shop they're referring you to works for them and not you. I have had success in getting an estimate from an independent shop, even it's not one that you go to, who are experts on your type of car, such as a dealership. Lots of dealerships have them, but they may not advertise it, so be sure to ask your service advisor. Also, if the adjuster gives you an estimate for more than one of the shops you've gone to, you can take your car to the less expensive shop and have the shop pay you the difference in cash. Make sure to check out shops thoroughly. There are thousands of fly by night places that will rip you off as soon as they figure out where your knowledge ends. The best places to check are the Better Business Bureau (for registration and complaints), your Secretary of State or Corporation Commission (for corporate status, length of time in business, etc.), and even the county recorder's office to see who technically owns the property the shop uses as their business address.
The best way to get a second opinion for a sick child is to take the child to a different hospital from the one which gave you the first opinion and either explain what your worries are regarding the first opinion you received or do not tell them that you have already had a diagnosis from a doctor until after your child has received the second diagnosis and if the two opinions are the same you should accept it as being correct.
The Second Opinion was created in 1988.
A second opinion would help
The second.
The second.
Accept is stressed on the second syllable.

Insurance companies investigating or handling a claim appoint an adjuster. I know of no instance where an insured or claimant would hire an insurance companies adjuster. If you disagree with the company adjusters valuation or handling of your claim, You are welcome to go out and hire your own public adjuster to get a second opinion.
'Accept' is neither a 'first' nor a 'second' syllable word. It is a two syllable word.

You can ask your GP or another healthcare professional for a second or further opinion (an opinion about your health condition from a different doctor). Although you do not have a legal right to a second opinion, a healthcare professional will rarely refuse to refer you for one.
Undeniably yes! Getting a second medical opinion, or maybe even a third opinion and weighing your treatment options is a very reasonable approach. It never hurts to get a second medical opinion. When the opinion of the first doctor is the same to the second doctor, your confidence increases regarding the treatment options for your condition.
