No, black currants (Ribes nigrum) do not have pits, but yes, they do have seeds.

Specifically, a pit is the central seed in an olive or peach. Black currants have seeds which -- just like apples -- are called exactly that. The words grain, kernel, nut, pit, and seed basically refer to the the parts or wholes of different seeds.
