Do I need to wear protective goggles in a tanning bed that doesn't have a separate face tanning system?

Yes! You should always wear goggles to protect your eyes. The lights in a tanning bed can damage them very easily regardless of whether or not there is a face tanning system.

just buy clear lenses for your current pair of goggles. most snowboard goggles have interchangeable lenses even if it doesnt appear so at first.
If you go tanning with makeup on your face can that break you out?
Not break out, however most makeup products contain an SPF which is going to prevent you from tanning. Tanning dries out your skin, ( USE LOTION! FACIAL LOTIONS TOO!) which doesnt normally lead to a breakout.
Should you use your iPOD while you're in a tanning bed?
You can. I work in a tanning salon and people ask this all the time. The UV light doesn't do anything to hurt your iPod, just make sure it doesnt get too hot. Set it on a towel or on the floor, out of the bed.

Tell a teacher or a friends parent, call the police or the Child Protective Service. That is what they are for.

the good thing about using a tanning booth im my perspective is getting tan fast to hide or cover up ugly tan lines, or even just to make yourself darker. if your tired of having thos tanlines or being made fun of because you skin is to light then go to a tanning booth its cheap and doesnt take very long

Not particularly. If you crash, you may be more likely to lose your goggles, causing them to get snow in them, having to look for them, and what-not. But in general, it's just a optional add-on. If it really bothers you, a piece of tape does the same thing. And if your helmet is a great fit, and doesnt need goggles to hold it in place, some people ski/board with their goggles under their helmet anyway.

Can regular tanning oil be used in a tanning bed?
I asked the Owner of the tanning salon I go too. And she told me i could use a little bit of tanning oil, but to not drench myself in it. So if you do maybe just put it on the top of your body because that part doesnt even touch the glass, and the bottom of your body does so it's already getting more exposure. Make sure you wipe down the best really good. Because, if it's all oily they may be even more suspicious about what you put on, and then you leave it all greasy.. they may not be too happy.
