Neither. All good people, regardless of religion, go to Paradise when they die. All bad people, including bad Christians, go to Hell when they die.

But God in his mercy decrees that Hades (Paradise and Prison alike) must be emptied and destroyed so that the resurrections and final judgment can take place (Rev. 20:12-14). Hell is never forever. There is only finite punishment for finite sin. God's love, justice, and mercy are all intact. Heaven and the other eternal rewards come after the final judgment.

Muslims believe that humans are placed on earth for a reason, and that is to worship Allah alone, and they are made accountable to Allah for what they do in their life. Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) was the first person on earth. He was promised that if he follows Allah’s instructions whilst on earth and became a true servant of Allah, on Judgement Day he would be physically resurrected and receive a favourable judgement to allow him into Paradise (Jannah). All Muslims believe the same applies to them. Paradise (Jannah) is an eternal place of beauty, happiness and fun that never ever comes to an end. (Please go to salafisoundscom and listen to: “Paradise: Its Bounties and Joys” to get an understanding of what Muslims believe about Paradise). Hellfire (Jahannam or Naar) is a place of terrifying punishments – for some Muslims it is a place of temporary purification for their sins and transgressions before they enter into Paradise. For those who did not submit to Islam and its message once it had reached them, it is a place of eternal punishment. Allah said: “That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom shall see it.” (Qur’an: Suratuz-Zalzalah (The Earthquake) 99:6-8).

When the body is buried in the ground, two Angels named Munkar and Nakeer ask the deceased three questions:

Who is your Lord?

What is your Religion?

Who was that man (Muhammad) sent amongst you?

Answering these questions correctly and truthfully will fill the grave with pleasurable things. However, answering them incorrectly or with hypocrisy will result in the deceased person being punished in the grave. The person thereafter remains in his or her grave till the Hour is established. The souls are rewarded and punished in accordance to their belief and deeds. On the Day of Judgement all the bodies will be physically resurrected and the souls returned back to them. Then they will be judged in accordance to their belief, worship and deeds. The righteous believers in Paradise and the unbelievers in Hell. Allah stated: “They will in the Gardens of delight. A multitude will be from the first generations who embraced Islam. And a few will be from the later times. They will be seated on thrones woven with gold and precious stones. Reclining upon them, face to face with one another. They will be served by immortal youth with cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine – they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. And can have fruit that they choose and the flesh of game bird that they desire. And there will be for them fair females with wide, lovely eyes as wives for the pious. They will be like unto preserved pearls. A reward for the good they used to do. There will be no filth, false or evil talk therein, nor any backbiting, slander or tale-carrying” (The meanings of the Qur’anic verses from Surat Al-Wāqi`ah (The Inevitable) 56:12-25)

When will we use our intelligence to realize the Truth? Till when will we believe in the stories of Santa Claus? When will we realize that nobody goes to heaven? Heaven is on earth and it is experienced when we take rebirth. When will we realize the Truth about what happens to us when we die? Don’t we see that we are putting the body in a coffin to be buried under the ground? Do we have the slightest doubt that if we open the coffin we will find the skeleton and the remains of the dead body? When will we accept reality? When will we stop blindly believing in scriptures and when will we question? Only when we truly love God, when we truly seek God then we will go in quest of the Divine Spirit. We will pray to the father, believe in the son but realize that the kingdom of God is within, that God lives in the temple of our heart - Luke 17:20-21, Corinthians 3:16. We must interpret the scriptures correctly and not believe in Fairy Tales.

A popular view among churchgoers of Christendom is that at death people go either to heaven or to hell. But what does The Bible say about this? It states: “For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not any thing.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5, The Holy Scriptures, According to the Masoretic Text) So the dead know nothing. They are not living somewhere but are literally and completely dead. They are conscious of nothing.

This fact is confirmed by these statements in the Bible book of Psalms: “The dead themselves do not praise Jah, nor do any going down into silence.” (Psalm 115:17) “Do not put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs. His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.”—Psalm 146:3, 4.

But what about the soul? Is it not immortal? No. Contrary to what most people believe, the soul is not immortal. This fact is plainly stated in the Bible, which says: “The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.” (Ezekiel 18:4, 20) Further confirmation of this is found at Acts 3:23, which says: “Indeed, any soul that does not listen to that Prophet [Jesus] will be completely destroyed.”

The Soul goes to Heaven. The body goes into the grave until the rapture. After the body is taken to Heaven, it is transformed into a new Holy body.

Another viewThere is no such thing as the rapture. If there is(which there is not) show me proof in the Bible. I will gladly study with you.

John 17.(it would be good to read all of the chapter. but in verse 4 Jesus said "I have finished the work" when He comes back.it will be the last and final time.

when you die(when everyone dies) their body goes to the grave and their spiritual body goes to Hades.__(1 Corinthians 15:54-57)_54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 16 mentions Hell.A place after Hades.Hades is a waiting place until Christ comes.

If you are saved in Christ. you will go to Heaven. a place of comfort and rest___2 Thessalonians 1:7; " and to you who are troubled rest with us,when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels"

____2 Pet .1: 16; For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

____Acts 4:12;Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Another AnswerFirst, the term 'soul' is nephesh in the Hebrew and psuche in the Greek and it simply means breath of life. It is in all air-breathing animals and man. When any of these die, the bodies and soul die and go to the grave. But there is a spirit in man and this goes to God to be rejoined with another new physical body for that person at their resurrection to Judgement before Jesus Christ.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,

And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

The term 'spirit' used here is 'ruach' and initially meant the same as nephesh (

in earliest times there was little distinction in Hebrew thought between a person's God-breathed ruach and his or her nephesh or soul).

Lastly, most will find this a bit shocking, but no human but Jesus has gone to Heaven (John 3:13). Heaven is coming down to the New Earth - the tabernacle of God will be amongst mankind - his new spiritual sons and daughters in the Family of God (Revelation 21).

Another viewEcclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. All souls return to our father once the flesh body dies. That word spirit used is not nephesh as others have stated earlier its the Hebrew word ruwach (Strong's 7307), its the same as the word used in Genesis 1:2, to define our Fathers spirit.

Paul goes into great lengths concerning this discussion in 1 Corinthians chapter 15. where he defines your two bodies which your spirit (soul) can reside in. He defines one earthly and the other heavenly. You can not posses both bodies at the same time however.

The flesh is simply each souls probation time to choose of their own free will whether they will follow Christ or Satan.

Most folks are not taught biblical text, they simply listen to sermons one day of the week during church, therefore they miss this important teaching. You have a spirit (soul) which belongs to our father "behold all souls are mine" Ezekiel 18:4. Therefore Satan can not take your soul.

However, you can choose to follow him which may very well result in the destruction of your soul, in the lake of fire, during the white throne judgement (Revelation 20). The decision is yours and yours alone to bear, no one else will face your judgment but you alone, and what is written next to your name in the book of life. Therefore choose wisely.

There will be 1000 years of teaching prior to the white throne judgement (revelation chapter 20), however I would not suggest you wait until that time, personally I would rather you learn the word now and make a stand against the false christ.

The false christ will come (after the war with Iran - Persia re:Daniel 8-11). That is how close we are to the end of this earth age boys and girls. Once you see the West go to war with Iran, then know as it is written in the book of Daniel, that the appearance of Satan as the fake jesus is coming next. Don't follow after the first christ who appears, he is a fake.

Rapture is simply a lie. That lie is identified in the book of Exekiel chapter 13 starting with verse 17. The lie of rapture is founded upon the ideas of a young lass of port glastonbury Scotland, named Margret MacDonald. Margret was of the tribe of Dan and her account meets the prophecy of Dan as given in the book of Genesis 49:17.

The name doubghall of which donald is a sir name, is the identification of the dainties who came agains the isles of Scotland and Ireland in 1000 ad. T,he name means dark of black dane or dutch. The account of the Danite Margret MacDonald is well documented in glastonbury church history.

Finally, in Luke chapter 16 is the story of Lazarus and the Rich man, which defines what happens to those who allow themselves to become caught up in the cares of this life and ignore their responsibility to Christ and our Father. It is founded upon Deuteronomy 15:7 and the law to help out your poor brother. The rich man failed to achieve the commandment of Deuteronomy 15:7 and he was separated from the souls that are allowed around the throne of God and placed across the great gulf fixed with all the other souls which did not achieve the requirements of the law either. There they wait until the 1000 years of Christ teaching where they might have a chance at redeeming themselves.

It would be extreme grief to sit in a place where you can see the throne of our Father and Christ and know you can not go there and be among them. The grief one would feel in that place, knowing that your own actions condemned you, would be unbearable. This is what the bible describes as Hell.

Another AnswerThe only thing I might add for those who wish to believe in the "Rapture", read II Thess Chpt. 2, it makes it very clear we will not gather again to our Christ until the "Son of Perdition" has set at the top of the Temple Mount proclaiming himself to be God. There is only one "Son of Perdition", that simply means "pre-judged", you can read of that judgement in Ezk. 28. it is Satan. If you need further proof after you read your I Thess 4:16, the Trump mentioned there, what Trump is it? That's easy enough to answer go to I Cor 15:52, Paul tells you it is the Last Trump. Now Satan comes at the 6th. Trump, so that means Satan has to come on earth first as mentioned in Rev.12:7-9. Notice it did not say some man with dark swept back hair and sunglasses as shown on the TV shows, it said Satan, better get used to that idea. And, don't fear, your father is with you. Satan is not coming for death and destruction, he's coming as God to deceive you, he wants you to worship him. When you read for example in Rev. 9:18 that a third part of men were killed, it is Soul Slaughter, not physical death. That IS the Mark of the Beast, loving him instead of your Father. God has his mark on foreheads also, read Rev. 9:4. If you will read Rev 7:1-3 you will see your Father is holding back the four corners of the Earth to have your mind sealed. Why you ask is this going to happen, one reason is the false preaching going on. Read Hosea Ch.7:13-16, He's Mad. Read Vs. 13, he is tired of the lies and in Vs.14, He's tired of the rebellion of us doing things "our" way instead of the way he has commanded us. It's real simple, if you have a preacher that is just giving you but one or two verses of the Bible each week and puffing hot air for an hour. You better find yourself a man of God who will. Forget all this Non-Biblical Rapture doctrine nonsense, and stand up like a man or woman of God. God has plans for you. I know many of you are thinking, oh my preacher is not misleading me, then read Ezk.34, He's not so happy with his Shepherds. In Vs. 10 He Says I am against you. If then you wish to say, that's Old Testament, then read Vs. 24, you should know who my servant "David" is, its Jesus, and He talks of his coming, that's future. I am may not as eloquent or as humble as the man who just answered you, but he told you the truth. God Bless Him for it! Another Answer

Human beings are made up of 2 parts: Body and Soul. When someone dies, their temporary physical human Body of flesh breaks down and disintegrates until after a while there is nothing left except dust. However, when a Christian dies, although their physical body decays, their Soul goes immediately to Heaven. They (that is, their physical Body and spiritual Soul) are not stuck in the grave until the Rapture. The Souls of people who have already died are in heaven.

The Rapture is a Type for the people rising out of their graves at Christ's death on the Cross in Jerusalem, but they were the bodies of Old Testament saints being un-disintegrated [if there's such a word!] and resurrected to heaven. (There were no New Testament saints because Christ had just died).

Just as the bodies, or physical containers of the Soul, of the Old Testament saints left their graves at Christ's death, so the bodies of dead New Testament Christians will also leave their graves and disappear into the atmosphere.

1Th 4:17 KJ Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The word air quoted from 1 thessalonians 4:17 KJV is Strong's Greek word 109: and it means to breath unconsciously, i.e. Respire; by analogy, to blow); "air" (as naturally circumambient). this is often mistaken by readers for the word sky. The Greek word air and the Latan word "Respire" refer to the breath of life as stated in Genesis 2:7 - And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul

Sky is Strong's Greek word 3772 - "Ouranos" with the definition: Perhaps from the same as oros (through the idea of elevation); the sky; by extension, heaven (as the abode of God); by implication, happiness, power, eternity; specially, the Gospel (Christianity) -- air, heaven(-ly), sky.

When Christians die they go straight to heaven, they are not in the grave until the rapture.

The correct answer here is, it depends. In order to get a correct view of this we need to look at what the Bible says and compare it to what we have been told.

First off, the soul. What is a soul and is it something that can survive death?

Lets look at what the Bible says. take a look at Genesis 2:7, in almost all versions, this scripture reads, "And the LORD God formed mad out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man came to be a living soul."

Now while there are some slight variations, almost all Bible versions say say exactly the same thing when it says, "man became a living soul". They do leave any space to believe the souls is separate from the body. But is there any further evidence to support this belief? Again, let look at another scripture and examine it.

Ezekiel 18:4 reads, "Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so also the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul who sins is the

one who will die."

Notice, it says here, the soul that is sinning itself will die. with the exception of Jesus, are any of us sinless? Some may reason that when we die, we then pay for our sins, then out soul will then go to heaven. But if man becomes a living soul, and that sinful soul dies, then what is left of us to go to heaven? The argument here is that nothing passes on to go to heaven. But again, is there support for this in the Bible?

Notice Ecclesiastes 9:5,9,10. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Verse 5 reads, "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten."

Verse 9 and 10 go on, "All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheʹol, the place to which you are going." It is important to note, that She'ol or hell, as it appears in some translations, literally just another word for grave. Many newer Bible translations now use the word Grave in its stead. For support of this claim one need only to research the original verb-age used.

Now the Next question or concern that may arise with some is, 'Does this mean that this is the end?' I mean if we do simple die and have no knowledge or wisdom after death, whats left for us? What is the point of our even being alive?

This is largely a subject for a different question, but lets take a quick look under the hood. Notice what is says in Psalms 37:10,11, "just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were,

And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." Verses 21, 22, 29 of this same chapter go on to reiterate and support that the righteous or the meek will inherit the earth. But no one wants to inherit the earth as it is, so what will make the earth be like? Turn to Isaiah 11:6-9 and 65:25. At 11:6-9 tells us about the amazing and peaceful conditions that will dominate the earth in the near future. This is further supported again in 65:20-25, where it again talks about the future blessings that God promised to us.

This just isn't something that is found in the Hebrew scriptures either. Jesus at Matthew 5:5, where Jesus tells us, "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit

the earth."

Now this does not mean that no one goes to heaven? No! There are for a certainty a small number that will go to heaven and rule with Jesus, this something that Jesus himself hinted to several times while he was on earth. At Luke 12:32, Jesus mentions a "little flock" which will inherit the Kingdom with Him. But at John 10:16, while talking about this same same group, he mentions that he has "other sheep" that are "not of this fold" or separate from this little flock. Is there support for this belief that there are 2 distinct groups of people that will incur Gods favor? We find support for this in Revelation. At revelations7:9 it talks about this "great crow" of people coming out all of all the nations, tribes, peoples and tongues (different languages) and they all glorify God together. The major difference is the the "small flock" which the Bible also in Revelation tells us is 144,000, will rule as priest and kings with Jesus in heaven and help guide the great crowd back to perfection in worshiping God. This is a very short explanation of all of this and i crammed a lot of info into a very short window.. For a more in-depth look, with a much broader explanation, complete with a limitless amount of supporting scriptures and references, I encourage you to visit the official website of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Will Christians go through the Tribulation?

Another answer from our community:Jesus words in Matthew chapter 24 help us to get the answer to that question.Notice in verse 9, speaking to his disciples he said,""Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name." There was a fullfillment of Jesus words in the first century on Christians living back then. But if you notice, Jesus also speaks of "the end," that is, the "last days." In verses 13 and 14 he says,"But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."In verses 21 and 22 he tells of a "Great Tribulation." He says,"for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world's beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short."In this "Great Tribulation," Jesus says that it would be so bad that "unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved." The Great Tribulation is still in our future, since the world has never seen days that terrible yet. Also Jesus says at verses 29 and 30, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory..." Those words of Jesus have not yet been fullfilled. So this Great Tribulation is still in the future. Jesus says that "on account of the chosen ones, those days would be cut short." It is appearant that the "chosen ones" would be present to be affected by the tribulation. So yes, Christians will go through the Great Tribulation.

When you die and go to heaven can you see people live on earth?

It depends on how you die. If you die from murder or suicide you stay on earth, until your spirit it transfered to Heaven. If you die naturally like in your sleep or of old age, then you have a straight path to where you want to be.

What will your Savior the Lord Jesus Christ do to your bodies once you join him in Heaven?

If you are speaking of the resurrection/rapture a person's body will be change before they enter heaven. This new body will be made to last an eternity and will be in appearance to your old physical body in that you will be recognizable to other persons. If a person should die today their physical body goes into the grave here on earth and their soul goes to heaven. Some people believe that when you get to heaven you will have a temporary body until the resurrection when you'll get your permanent body. I personally do not know if we will get temporary bodies.

Will the rapture of the church be a phenomenon?

There are questions about the rapture raised by some church officials. There was no mention of the rapture until about 1919 I think, which puts some of it in doubt.

Where does rapture come from?

I left the original answer, simply because it sounded so "cartoonish" to and quite laughable/ Essentiall this was correct, sort of. Rapture will be dissed by even those that believe the Bible. Why? ignorance, always it's that and just plain stubborness. Rapture is the "Catching away" and the term rapture was given to transliterate as closely to the actual latin term. One can do a study on the term rapture at Perry Stones website. He explains this side of it quite well. The dead in Christ will be caught away first then those loven will be "gone" in a twinkling of an eye. So, if you do not believe, it's not happening to you. This is going to happen just prior to a 7 year tribulation period.Previous Answer: =======================================The rapture comes from Heaven when God thinks that the world is ready for an end. All believers will automaticly go to Heaven and all of the nonbelievers will stay on earth in misery and pain. When the rapture occurs, the nonbelievers will get stamps on their foreheads that say things like "I am a nonbeliever" and these stamps will stay on their forhead forever until death. The only way these people can go to Heaven is if they really do believe now and beg for forgiveness..Answer:The rapture comes from a misunderstanding about what the Bible truly says about the return of Jesus Christ to the earth, and the gathering of His saints unto Him.

Is the rapture post-tribulation?

A:Barbara R. Rossing (The Rapture Exposed) says that the Rapture has its origins in the nineteenth century beginning, according to one critic, with a young girl's vision. In 1830, in Port Glasgow, Scotland, fifteen-year-old Margaret MacDonald attended a healing service. There, she was said to have seen a vision of a two-stage return of Jesus Christ. The story of her vision was adopted and amplified by John Nelson Darby, a British evangelical preacher and founder of the Plymouth Brethren. The belief that Jesus will come again was not new, and Christians have always taught that Jesus will return to earth and that believers should live in anticipation of his second coming. Darby's new teaching was that Christ would return twice. The first return would be in secret, to "Rapture" his church out of the world and up to heaven. Christ would return a second time after seven years of global tribulation for non-believers, to establish a Jerusalem-based kingdom on earth. Darby's timeline was for the Rapture to be pre-tribulation. Rossing says that some evangelists deal with the charge that this implies escapism for Christians, by delaying the Rapture until midway or even all the way through the supposed seven-year tribulation. The beauty of Rapture theology is that, as it is not really true, it can be what you want it to be. The Rapture can be pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation or post-tribulation.

What is God free gift?

According to the Bible, God's free gift is forgiveness of sin; a new life trusting and serving Him until the Rapture when all those who were faithful to Him shall join him in heaven. According to the Bible, forgiveness of sin is free, but many do not accept it.

Will there be any saved on earth after the rapture?

A:Barbara R. Rossing (The Rapture Exposed) says that the Rapture has its origins in the nineteenth century beginning, according to one critic, with a young girl's vision. The story of her vision was adopted and amplified by John Nelson Darby, a British evangelical preacher and founder of the Plymouth Brethren. Darby's theology has been accepted not only by members of the Plymouth Brethren but by millions of other Christians, perhaps because it sounds biblical. The belief that Jesus will come again was not new, and Christians have always taught that Jesus will return to earth and that believers should live in anticipation of his second coming. Darby's new teaching was that Christ would return twice. The first return would be in secret, to "Rapture" his church out of the world and up to heaven. The only persons to remain on earth during the "tribulation" would be non-believers. However, it is claimed that these non-believers would be given the chance to repent and those who do would also be saved. Christ would return a second time after the seven years of global tribulation, to establish a Jerusalem-based kingdom on earth. Now we know it is a nonsense to think of people being snatched up through the sky, as Darby had envisaged. John Nelson Darby has sunk into obscurity, apart from his followers in the Plymouth Brethren, and so should his theology. There will be no Rapture and the sky will not be filled with people taken bodily up into heaven.

Although few people belong the the Plymouth Brethren Church, many Christians believe in Darby's most enduring theological creation, the Rapture. A:Harold Camping, a Christian religious leader at Family Radio said that true Christians were to be taken up into the Rapture on May 21st 2011. We who remain behind will suffer tribulation until October, when the world will end. So if you are still here, it would seem that like me you are not a true Christian. Actually, according to Camping and his group, the world should have ended on October 11, 2011. All we can do is wait and continue to suffer tribulation here on earth for a few more days.

Is there a way to heaven outside of seeking Jesus Christ?

A:Yes. Just as Christians believe they go to heaven through faith in Jesus Christ, Jews believe they go to heaven through good works, Muslims believe they go to heaven though submission to Allah and even Zoroastrians believe they go to heaven through Ahura Mazda. Some eastern religions believe in a series of rebirths until you achieve perfect righteousness and knowledge, after which you leave the cycle of rebirths and ascend to heaven. There is no evidence that one religion is more true than another, and each has its way to heaven.
