They are very different. Fungi include mushrooms, yeasts, molds, truffles, rusts, smuts, and many other organisms. Mosses are actually small plants that photosynthesize, but don't have vascular tissue or produce seeds. Some things are called moss that aren't related to true mosses at all, like Spanish moss is actually a plant more closely related to pineapple, and some things called "moss" are actually lichens, which are combinations of fungi and usually algae.
There is a difference in size and colour...They are also different types of fungi...
nothing, there the same thing. mold and yeast are types of fungi
Moss and algae belong to different scientific classifications. Algae usually looks slimy and wet, whereas moss looks more like carpet.
Moss is green and has chloroplasts. Fungi are many colors and lack chloroplasts. (A point of confusion would be lichens which are composed of a fungus and an alage.)
Moss is a bryophyte (non-vascular plant) of the kingdom Plantae. Mold is of the kingdom Fungi.
