France had a Treaty with Spain. Known as the Family Compact. On September 1762, The Roval Navy accompanied by East Indies Squadron and British army regulars Form Madras, India sailed to Manila bay which led to the British occupation of Manila until 1764.

The Spanish rule was constantly threatened By Japanese,British,dutch, Chinese rebellions and Invasions.

During 1898, The Spanish-American war, Emilio Aguinaldo returned to the Philippines with the aid of the America. Spain and America fought a mock battle and sold Philippines for 20 million dollars, Which ended the Spanish rule and started the American colonization.

During 1942 and 1945 the Japanese occupied the Philippines hours later after bombing the pearl harbour. The Philippine and United states troops led by Gen.Douglas MacArthur.

The Final surrender of the United states-Philippine forces was on the bataan peninsula which led to the Death March.
