Is hand lotion a good anal lube?

Make sure your lotion is non toxic. Girls are very vulnerable and open and chemicals inside can cause more problems than I can write, short and long term. If you are a male using it, there are some toxins in store bought lotion that can cause testicular cancer, prostate cancer, genetic disorders and reproductive disorders if used on a regular basis.

A basic oil like apricot kernel oil makes a wonderful lube and won't hurt anyone. It has no smell and you can usually find it at your grocery store.

First of all you mean lube in what way, to use with a partner or yourself? You probably can for yourself but to use with someone else well, lotion is not used internally but their might be one created for that matter. If not just stick with the regular ones.

No. The ingredients in lotion are not made for internal use. Not only will it most likely burn during sex, whether used vaginally or anally, it can cause problems down the road, such as infections. Also, lotions are made to rub into the skin, so I doubt it work too long before it's completely absorbed. Stick to K-Y or Astroglide or something labeled as a "personal lubricant"!

If you're a woman or engaging in sexual activity with a woman then you cannot use lotion as a lubricant. If you're male you may be able to use lotion as a lubricant during masturbation, but stop if there's any discomfort.

The vagina and vulva are made up of mucus membranes, this is like skin but without the top protective layer so it is more delicate thus more prone to irritation from products like lotions, also this mucus membrane more easily absorbs harmful chemicals from lotions into the body. The vagina also has an acidic pH in order to kill 'bad' bacteria but allow 'good' bacteria to thrive, anything chemical in the vagina or vulva can effect this pH thus allowing harmful bacteria and yeast to thrive, which can lead to infection.
