You can touch all poison dart frogs and not be poisoned unless it is the Golden Dart frog. It is the only frog with poison strong enogh to penetrate the skin. The other frogs are harmless unless you have a cut or you put your hand in your mouth or any other entrance into your blood stream.

∙ 11y agoBecause it is the extremely potent and concentrated, and it is considered to be the most poisonous animal in the world. If you took a grain of salt and covered it with the poison, that little grain of salt size is enough to kill a human. I might mention that Poisonous means for defense, and venomous means offensive. Toxic, refers to both, and while the Golden poison dart frog, or Phyllobates terribilis, is the most poisonous animal in the world, it is not the most toxic. In toxicity, it comes up to about fifth depending on who you talk to.

∙ 11y agoMost poison dart frogs are harmless to touch. The toxins are mild, and at worst may cause pain, cramping, and stiffness.
Some poison dart frogs are dangerously toxic, however. These include the phantasmal, kokoe, black-legged, and golden poison dart frogs. Touching these might cause fever, salivation, and paralysis. It is not currently known whether touching these frogs would administer a lethal dose, but it best to leave wild poison dart frogs untouched.
