none of this makes much sense to me. Vaseline is a petroleum product. even if it really is edible (it's not intended for human consumption), i don't think i'd take too kindly to eating fossil fuel byproducts.
i just checked the label. it says "for external use only," (using it on tooth enamel is still somewhat external -- it's not like you're drinking it in your coffee or anything).
anyway, my point is, you won't die from ingesting a few milligrams of it, or even a few grams. but it's not food and shouldn't be used as such.
but my little sister used to eat it, but she is stil alive.......
It is generally safe to eat with Vaseline on your lips, as long as you do not ingest large amounts of it. Vaseline is non-toxic and not meant for consumption, so it is best to wipe it off before eating to avoid accidentally ingesting it.
Vaseline does not work on rubik's cubes. Eventually it will eat the plastic. Use 100% silicone spray.
Cats may try to eat Vaseline due to its texture or smell, or they may be seeking moisture if they have a dry throat or stomach. However, ingesting Vaseline can be harmful for cats as it is not meant for consumption and can lead to digestive issues or an intestinal blockage. It's best to keep Vaseline and other non-food items out of reach of your cat.
No Vaseline was created in 1991.
Yes you can eat Vaseline, it is considered nontoxic. However, you shouldn't now go and feast on it. All good things in moderation. There is a such thing as Vaseline overdose and symptoms include: abdominal pain, couching, diarrhea, and shortness of breath. Stop eating Vaseline if you get these symptoms and call the poison control center 800-222-1222. By the way, Vaseline isn't meant to be eaten. Use it for dry lips, crusty feet, ashy arms... I knew a guy who once used it to style his hair.
Hi there are germs in vaseline
No, Vaseline is NOT edible.
Vaseline won't protect you from chlamydia. You can't get chlamydia from sharing a jar of Vaseline with someone, though.
vaseline does not and never will and never has tested on any animals always humans
Carmax is a car dealer and vaseline is a lubricant-so no.
Vaseline was discovered by a New York chemist, Robert Chesebrough. He found a thick sticky substance blocking oil rigs which stopped drilling and was considered to be a nuisance. He ate a spoonful a day for "good health" and lived to the age of 96.
Since Vaseline is not a spermicidal, the answer would be yes.
