It is believed in the new age and occult communities that anyone and anything can attract ghosts or spirits. Though there does not seem to be any special ability in rabbits that makes people believe they can do so better than other things, or more frequently.

∙ 10y agoI suspect they are aware of phenomena that humans struggle with. Animals see things through a different filter. If you live with a rabbit that is exhibiting sensitivity to such things, try burning sage in the room that causes it distress.
