Use baking soda in warm water. Rinse well with clean rag to remove gritty feel. You can also use a mixture of vinegar and water, or bleach and water, or ammonia and water. If you use the bleach or ammonia, be sure to wipe down all surfaces with warm soapy water. Or, you could just use the warm soapy water.

If the cat has not been playing/running around, and has been just lounging around, it could mean it has a cold. It does not mean that they are deathly ill though. Give your kitty a few days to recoup. It might just be a temporary cold like humans get. If it persists for more than 3 days, i would consider taking it to a vet. If you want to make your kitty more comfortable, I would use a soft washcloth with warm water and try to wipe the kitty boogies off it's nose when they start to dry out. My cat loves warm wash cloths on his nose when he's not feeling well.
