The answer is Yes! a ten year old can play Halo I am an eleven year old who likes playing all Halo games, I've been playing Halo since I was six and played Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars and Halo 3 ODST, I am smart enough not to follow the violence, foul language, etc..
Note: I am the only one in my class who plays Halo while one of my friends tried it he said it was boring when to me it is a very fun game
