Dont jump them, its not a switch, its a transducer and you could wreck your pcm by jumping the wrong one. Run a power wire directly to your compressor to get the clutch to engage. If it doent engage then, it is your clutch. Remember to first check refridgerant level and fuses/relays.

The clutch receives it's signal to engage from a pressure switch in the system. If there is insufficient refrigerant in the system the pressure switch will not close resulting in no power at the compressor clutch to make it engage.
The STX-38 should have an electric clutch for the mower deck. The switch to engage it is on the right rear fender. It is a toggle switch. You will have to pull up on the switch and forward to engage the blades.
See if hot wire hot with switch on.

The ac pressure cycling switch is designed to engage or dissengage the clutch to keep the proper pressure in the system.
The clutch is wired with a hot from the battery at all times and requires a ground from the switch to engage. Check for a bad ground wire to the clutch or a bad ground connection.

there is a safety switch on the clutch, it should be on the inside of the car that the pedal has to activate so the car will start, apparently that switch is bad.
There is no neutral safety switch on a 85 fiero with a manual transmission. There is a clutch pedal switch under the dash. The car will start in any gear, as long as the clutch pedal is depressed.
There is a switch on the clutch that won't let the car start unless the clutch pedal is fully depressed. You can turn the key but the starter won't engage. Something stuck under the clutch pedal (matt, etc...) will do it or if someone kicked the switch or possibly the switch has died. You could use a jumper wire to bypass the switch if you had to or just replace the switch.
When not engaged, the wheel spins freely. When the low pressure switch closes, it closes the electrical circuit to the compressor clutch. This actuates an electromagnet, which pulls the clutch in to engage it.
Look for pressure switch on top of accumulator/drier normally at the passenger side firewall - jump this switch with paper clip or ? That should pull clutch in
