There arent any programs, but you can get a better pc? most people say a mac goes well with minecraft. Or i think you buy some kind of upgrade(not sure what its called) which may help
The Risk is that someone could hack your Minecraft server and get Owner rank, and they could probly find you IP adress
You could. If you want permission, ask the server host or administrator.
Go into google and type in minecraft version changer and download it. It's for windows and for mac. Its completely legal and gives you ANY version of minecraft server.
Make sure all instances of Minecraft Server are closed, also another application could be using the port. Try doing killall java then run the server.
You just host one and advertise your server or you could buy a server which costs around $250-550 per year and advertise that.
You could create one yourself, or make a friend make on and tell him to not go in it. ~Ryuzaki
Minecraft Is Both Multiplayer and single player; when you open the minecraft window (or when you play it in your browser) it shall say:MINECRAFTsingleplayerMultiplayerMods And Texture Packsoptionsif you click "multiplayer" it will ask for a server IP. to find a server IP you could look it up on the internet "good server IP" or something like that. (sometimes its hard to find one which works) The server ip is basically a "code" to allow you into a particular server. when youve typed the server ip into the bar which comes up when you press "multiplayer" it should log in to that server.
It means that, as you are trying to connect to a server, the server is not responding, after a minuet or so it will show this message. This could mean the server is offline or that your connection to the internet is poor. (Or the server host's connection to the internet is poor.
That is private server that he uses with his friends. There is no chance you could join, except if you are his friend. You will never get the IP. Deal with it.
This could be for several reasons. The computer your friend is playing on may have more programs and other things running in the background that cause it to lag. It may also be because your friend has his/her graphics on Minecraft turned up.
Sometimes it is becouse you have been on to long with out moving. It could also be your computer haveing a hard time running minecraft. It could be the server you are playing on. Hope this helped.
Get another computer, I recommend a Mac or you could get a faster server.
