I do not think that there is any difference. Petroleum engineers normally inject water into an oil reservoir to maintain the reservoir pressure (and hence the ability of the reservoir to pump oil to the surface). In the process and if the water injection wells are properly located, the injected water normally sweeps (pushes out) out more oil effectively flooding the reservoir and increasing the amount of oil that is recovered from the reservoir. This incremental oil will otherwise be left behind in the reservoir. Hence, in an oil reservoir where the natural aquifer is large and strong enough to maintain the reservoir pressure, water injection is unlikely to significantly increase the oil recovery from the reservoir.
IOR: is any method of producing or injecting (developing) a well (reservoir) that is not on primary production or commingled (not selective) production such as (secondary recovery like water flooding and tertiary like gas injection, chemical injection or microbial injection. EOR: its tertiary recovery techniques for increasing the amount of crude oil that can be extracted from an oil field either by using Gas injection, Chemical injection, Microbial injection or Thermal methods.
A sump pump is submerged in a pit. It keeps house from flooding. A utiliity pump is used to pump water out of already flooded house, boat, pool, tank, etc....
They block the water.
it is difference between the water level from head race and tail race
rain and flooding
Fluvial flooding is caused by river water, pluvial flooding relates to rain water.
Fluvial flooding is - Produced by the action of a river or stream. Coastal flooding is - An overflowing of water onto land that is normally dry.
There should be none. If it is a medical preparation of "Water for Injection", you can bet it's sterile. It would be against every basic medical ethic for it not to be.
This is due to the difference of density between blood and water

Road ponding is large puddles in the road and road flodding is complete covering of the road with water
wfi is use for wide variety of cell culture and molecular biology and pw is use as purification removes contaminants which may interference with processes
The difference between a mailman and water is water can be bottled and a mailman can't.
It depends on where the flooding is. If it is near the ocean and the flooding is from the ocean, then it would be salt water, If the flooding is from rainwater, It would be freshwater.
The main difference between water and ecowater is the hardness rating difference. For water testing and filter options, see your local water specialist.

the difference between fresh water and potable water is fresh water can come form the ground, and/or, ice burgs.
