Vomiting is not a symptom of the flu. You're child most likely has some form of food poisoning etc. Make sure they drink water, not too much as it would lead to more vomiting but enough to keep them hydrated. A small sip of Gatorade every few hours also helps to replenish electrolytes giving their body some extra energy to flush out the bacteria.
