Absolutely pure water consists of molecules made of two hydrogen(H) atoms and one oxygen(O) atom. You might have heard of H2O.

Regular drinking water can have some salts and minerals, and a touch of chlorine in it.

You don't get vitamins in water unless they have been added on purpose, to create something like a bottled water with supposed health benefits.

Yes, you need to take vitamins even if you drink water. Water helps your body and skin, but you still need vitamins to help bone and tissue growth and such.

however vitamin pills/suppliments should NEVER replace a balanced diet or food that natuarlly contains these viatmins. also be careful some vitamins in large amounts are just as bad as not having it

it is a nutrient

Water is not nearly complex enough to be a vitamin. Technically it does not provide nutrition either, but water is still considered a nutrient because it is necessary for life.

This really depends on the type and preparation of the vitamin. For example some form of vitamin C (ascorbic) are prepared as chewable tablets and in this case water may not be necessary to swallow the tablet. Other forms of vitamins are already in liquid form. Some multivitamin syrups especially formulated for children are in this class. Other preparations are not particularly pleasant in the mouth and many users would prefer to swallow them as soon as possible. Many multivitamin tablets for adults are found here.

It is necessary for the body to be well-hydrated in order to synthesize water soluble vitamins. This vitamins are not stocked up in the body and so have to be replenished daily. They include Vitamin B complex and vitamin C. On the other hand are fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K. These needs a fatty diet to be taken up by the body.

Water is not only important for the synthesis of water soluble vitamins but adequate intake helps in all the body's biological processes and waste elimination.

What vimtaminwater why is it better then water?

Because vitamins typically need to be consumed with food for your body to even absorb them, vitamin water is generally useless. It's better to get your vitamins from your food, and it's better just to drink plain water. If you choose to take vitamins, take a general multivitamin with a meal once a day.

Should I drink plenty of water when I take a multivitamin?

It helps to flush your body free of toxins and helps your cells to absorb vitamins when you drink water. However, as long as you are hydrated, it doesn't have to be water in particular.

How do the vitamins in Vitamin Water stay effective?

Vitamins are classified as either water-soluble or fat-soluble. In humans there are 13 vitamins: 4 fat-soluble (A, D, E, and K) and 9 water-soluble (8 B vitamins and vitamin C). Water-soluble vitamins dissolve easily in water and, in general, are readily excreted from the body, to the degree that urinary output is a strong predictor of vitamin consumption. Because they are not readily stored, consistent daily intake is important. Many types of water-soluble vitamins are synthesized by bacteria. They remain active because vitamins are a certain set of compounds that the body converts to what it needs once ingested. If you care about being healthy do yourself a favour and don't drink Vitamin Water at all. It has almost as much sugar in it as coca cola (and is made by them too). Drink tap water and get your vitamins from eating fresh fruit and vegtables. If you really feel the need to take vitamin supplements buy soem from a pharmacy.
