"I dont think that conn is a good Trumpet. You should go for a bach, getzen, dynasty, or anything but king and conn. All i know is that conn is a good Trombone brand."
My two cents as a trumpet-playing band director: The older Conn and King trumpets and cornets are excellent for beginning students. Through the years Conn has also made a few good intermediate and professional models. I would recommend a good used Conn over a brand new cheap-o brand for my own beginning students. For a "step-up" instrument, I would recommend a Bach, Yamaha, or Getzen trumpet, but these companies also make entry-level instruments.

Both King and Conn are made by the same company Selmer. In fact Selmer trade under the company names:
Yamaha are famed for their consistency of tonal quality across the register and quality control.
Bach is the top of the line for Selmer.
Conn is usually lesser quality marching band equipment.
Holton only sells professional models under Selmer.
Prelude is Bachs student low cost line
I don't agree with this i think that the conn has an exceptionally good quality
none
One can purchase a Conn trumpet from Conn-Selmer, eBay, Amazon, Trumpet Trader, Musicians Buy, Musicians Friend, Alan Gregory, Intrumental Savings and many more.
If it's a Conn trumpet, it's the model number. The Conn 20B is a student model horn.
The Conn 1050B is a brass trumpet (1050B-SP for silver plate) for the upper level student. List price is $845. A used 1050B in good condition would sell for $350-$550.
Cat anderson used a Conn Connstellation trumpet.

You forgot the serial number.
Conn 12B with copper bell, In fact his whole trumpet section at one time played that trumpet.
C.G. Conn currently has one trumpet and two French horns listed as CONNstellation models. TRUMPET: Conn 52BSP - around $1,300 new. HORN: Conn 8D - varies depending on color, bell, and where it was made. Usually around $3,000 new, $3,000-$4,000 Elkhart. Conn 9D - also varies on specifics. Probably around $3000 new.
Monette,C.G. Conn /King, schilke etc.
Getzen Capri
A Conn Brass Trumpet is much shinier and a slightly silver-y color unlike a plain one which is bronze. They are also capable of playing deeper notes than plain ones.
