The speed sensor I know is located on the transmission. The top side most likely. Should be be like one bolt mounting it to the transmission. Just disconnect the electric lines running to it then remove bolt and it should just pull right out. Once replaced the Computer needs to be cleared out of the codes to eliminate the check engine soon light.
I've done thisSeems to be a common problem with these vehicles as well as 300Ms.You can access it from the driver side wheel well. You should jack up the driver corner of the car if you can to have some extra room. You then need to remove the plastic cover which in front of the wheel and covers the battery. If you look straight through to the transmission you will see a tan colered sensor on the side of the transmission which is towards the front of the car.
You just have to take the electrical connector off and then unscrew the sensor from the transmission. You may need to take the wheel off to have enough room to work. It's really very easy and you just need a wrench. Make sure to remove the one towards the outside of the car, not the inside, if you are looking for the output speed sensor. Then, just plop the new one in there and clip the wires back on. I did not even have to clear the engine codes, the light went off by itself after driving it a few times.
The new sensor was only $20-30 from the Chrysler dealership. Good luck!
I have found the sensors much cheaper on eBay motors, where there are several eBay stores specializing in transmission parts. ... as in $7.99 - $9.99ea
There was no 1990 Chrysler Cirrus. Look on the intake manifold or hoses for the intake temp sensor.
A Chrysler Cirrus does not have a mass airflow sensor.
It is inside the distributor. You have to replace the distributor to service the cam sensor.

It is in the distributor, you have to buy a distributor to replace.
There are two, one on each side of the catalytic converter.
The output speed sensor is the two wire sensor on the front, far driver side of the transmission.
YesYes
Yea, the crankshaft sensor is under the distributor and the camshaft sensor is inside the distributor, you cannot change it so you will have to replace the whole distributor.
map sensor is located on the upper intake on the passenger side near the back.
Are you sure you need to replace it? Is it a no-spark condition? Might want to check the Crankshaft Position Sensor first.
we had to replace the speed sensor in mine and it corrected the problem with the speedometer and the shifting. Good luck
