You can get cigarette smoke out of leather furniture by rubbing saddle soap onto the leather and working up a lather. Wipe the lather away with a clean sponge and allow the leather to dry. Check for the smell of smoke a day or two later and repeat the process if necessary.
I've had success with using scrubbing bubbles. You apply it and let it sit for a minute or so until the bubbles are gone then scrub it with a soft brush and then wipe with a rag. Repeat this process until no more nicotine comes out of the wood. After finishing this process use a good wood oil to revitalize the wood. You will be amazed at how the nictoine is drawn out of the wood!!
The best answer I have found is to sprinkle baking soda all over it, leave it overnight and then vacuum it up the next morning. ~K~ or spray frabrezzz on it it work i use it xx

peroxide doesn't stain furniture and removes any kind of stain I have ever experienced.
No, Naptha is not a strong enough solvent to remove wood stain from furniture. Use a paint and stain stripper instead. They are available in environmentally friendly versions along with versions that actually work.
If you have stripped your furniture and there is still too much stain showing on the surface you should first rough sand the project to remove any un-wanted blemishes and roughness then use household bleach followed by light sanding. Remember at this point the more you sand the more the old stain will be exposed.
To remove nail polish from wooden furniture, use a putty knife to get the polish off the wood. Then use denatured alcohol to get rid of the traces of the polish.
No
Use stain remover. Use stain remover.
Yes.
For a seamless finish, apply the stain before assembling the furniture.
Depends on the type and use of the furniture. I wouldn't want a nice table to be painted when I could stain it and bring out beautiful wood patterns.
