Does your girl love you even though she has feelings for another guy?

This is something I once had a problem with a year or two ago. In my case, the answer was simple. Love and feelings are two very different things. Normally the feelings come in the form of:

• Caring for that guy
• Being similar to that guy
• Sharing experiences with that guy (past life etc, deaths)

It really, really made me angry when I found this out. Look at it this way. If you could imagine your girl being forced to give a completely honest answer to a question. That question is "Who would you rather be with in 5 years time - your love, or Ted?" (we'll call the other guy Ted for now). If she can answer that instantly, and it's you, then yes, the girl loves you. If you think she may doubt, or take her time, hesitate or anything, it probably means she's given you the subconcious unsure future - by this I mean, you probably know that she hasn't made her mind up. Another situation is.. Think of all the long marriages that hit rocky stages. A partner could easily meet someone else, and start to have feelings for them, and they may even cheat (heaven forbid), but the point is, in many cases, they love their spouse enough to completely rid themselves of the "bit on the side" they have come to feel for, if they have to.
