You do not have to have the baby after you have become pregnant; it depends on your religious and personal beliefs; if you believe that abortion is wrong, or you cannot afford it, you will remain pregnant unless other complications arise that could potentially kill the child (cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, and certain pharmaceuticals are all potentially harmful to the developing fetus, as are NOT recommended to take during pregnancy; also remember that drugs are ILLEGAL and dangerous, and alcohol and cigarettes are not to be consumed or smoked under the age of 21 and 18, and are also dangerous! For alcohol, however, small quantities are alright, but again- NEVER during pregnancy.). These substances increase the chances of miscarriage and stillbirth, and can also alter the child's development physically and mentally. Also, STD's/STI's also are potentially harmful, especially during childbirth, where mothers could possibly transmit STD's such as herpes, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV- the virus that causes AIDS- to their children.

If you are sexually active, I highly recommend using contraceptives such as condoms (both male and female), birth control pills, spermicides, etc. during intercourse. A clean condom should be used every time, and Birth Control pills should be taken on-time every day. Also, it is better to be loyal- having multiple partners increases your chances of transmitting and spreading sexually transmitted diseases. You should always make sure that your sexual partners are disease-free; some people will lie, so unless you have a legitimate relationship with your partner, you shouldn't trust that they're clean unless you have proof. It is a bad idea to have even protected sex with one-time partners because not all STD's are spread only through sexual intercourse; herpes can be spread through kissing or through contact with sores on the genitals or lips.

Technically speaking, you may not actually have to have the baby, but I would NEVER recommend abortion. It is a viable human child, not a clump of tissue. Think about it--when it's born, is it a baby? What about the day before that? What about the day before THAT? I could do this through all nine months, but that would take a while, so I'm going to try to move on. Life starts at conception, and grows from there. If you don't believe me, then think about this--let's say, for argument's sake, that the heartbeat starts at three weeks. Did the baby have a heart at 2 weeks and 6 days? Of course. You can't, without Jesus, go from nothing to a fully developed heart in 1 day. Plus, the baby doesn't know when it's night time, so it wouldn't wait until exactly the third week to start its heartbeat. It's the same thing with life and humanity. It doesn't wait until so many weeks to start becoming a human, because, if it's born early, it is still a human: your alive human child. Some people try to say that, because they took the baby out of its womb and put it on THEIR machines to try to keep it alive, and it dies, it is not viable. That is not true. Their machines are apparently not as good as God's original design, the woman. You wouldn't take a turtle's egg out of its hole, break it, and say there was something wrong with it because it didn't hatch. It didn't hatch because you didn't give i time do fully develop. You should consider all these things before getting an abortion.
