if you get one positive it means you are more than likely pregnant. You are more likely to get a false negative than a false positive.

∙ 14y agoIf the test at the dr was a urine test, it could be that their test wasn't as sensitive as your home test at detecting hcg levels and it's still early in pregnancy.
If the test at the dr was a blood test and was negative, it is possible that you're experiencing a chemical pregnancy.

∙ 14y agoEither the first one was right or you've had a early miscarriage. The home pregnancy tests are not always reliable. Take a blood test to make sure.
