Are they making a tangled 2?

Last answer was bogus, Disney completely denied the report that they were done with fairy tale films. Anyway while there are no current plans for a sequel they said it wasn't out of the question either. See Disney believes that if they are to make a sequel of any of their films, it has to have an extremely strong and compelling story, not just because it did well at the box office. Fortunately, Tangled has both. ;)

As of July 2016 there is no announcement for a second release on Tangled, but there is a Tangled series coming out in 2017 called Before Ever After. It will be 2D animated NOT computerized. There may be a movie for Tangled: Before Ever After, but it probably won't be considered Tangled 2.

At this time, there are no plans from Disney to make a full feature sequel to the movie Tangled. There is a 6-minute animated short comedy film called Tangled Ever After.
