The 87 2.4 Mighty Max motor should physically fit into the 91 Mighty Max engine bay since they are both the same model. However, you may need to adjust wiring, sensors, and other components to ensure compatibility and proper functionality. Consulting a mechanic or doing thorough research on the swap is recommended.
hey i got a Renault 5 tl and i had to change the speedo cable due to it snapping but yer if u can get a workshop handbook u can pick em up for a couple of quid from eBay and general motor spares shops but yer
Exactly where to look depends heavily on the model and type number, but somewhere in the tangled mess of linkage and springs that are on that control plate, you will find the governor control arm. This is usually about 3-5 inches long, with holes along its length, a rod on one end, and a pinch bolt on the other. Remove the pinch bolt. The governor is now free. You will still need some sort of throttle control, because now the governor spring will just lock the throttle wide open. Use old bicycle brake cable, maybe. It's easily rigged. Incidentally, this modification is gauranteed to destroy the engine.
Single phase motors are designed for either CW or CCW operation, 3 phase units can be set by swapping any 2 power input connections. Manufacturer: Delta Model: 62-045 Voltage: 120/240 H.P. : 1 1/2 Dual capacitor (Start/Run) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Need to change rotation on this motor. I believe that if I changed the polarity on the Start circuit that I could do this ?? I do not know how to go about this, therefore could you please help me out here.
With Warm Regards,
Marco
i would say its like a 125cc engine so 50mph 45-55 mph if cart no more than 250 lb.s -m
This is wrong. I have a 11 hp go kart and it is 388cc and so it goes alot faster.
well engines have so many rpms so the size does not matter but you can gear a bigger engine to make it go faster
An improved flow of air and fuel mix will make the scooter faster. You can do this with an aftermarket exhaust.
look at pawn shops or post sign that say loking for cheap go carts.
I wouldn't take off the governor, but you can loosen it. It sits on the rear end of the drivers side, and it's simply a bolt and nut that the looser you make the nut, the more speed you'll get from your cart.
The Schwinn Apple Crate, Lemon Peeler, and Orange Crate bicycle's were new in 1968.
But Invented? Who knows. The first one I saw was back in the 1960's
The kid across the street from me's dad was a machinist that build choppers on the weekends, and he built the coolest ever chopper bike out of a Schwinn Stingray for his son.
Anything can be fitted to anything else, if your engineering skills are good enough. But unless you can do welding I don't recommend that you even try - it's not like it will bolt straight on. On top of that there's the issue with the drive train. Mopeds and scooters all have gear boxes to adapt what the engine puts out to something that the vehicle can use. Most lawn mower engines won't have that.
I've found one of the best sites for Golf Cart Parts, such as Club Car Parts, is Baker's Cart Supply. The section of their website devoted to Club Car Golf Cart Parts can be found here:

A 150cc engine is around 6HP ( I have an old lawnmower and that is what is shows on the top)... So, a 190cc engine should be around 7 -7.5 HP. I not sure who got sued, but I know there was a lawsuit surrounding cc vs. HP and that is why Briggs & Stratton engines are only rated as cc. Or that is my understanding. Hope this helps.
Remove the valve cover, you will then see 2 rocker arms with a nut and a square shank. (older models have a 8mm nut newer ones a 10mm). you adjust one valve at a time, by turning the clutch until the valve you are NOT adjusting is at max lift. You loosen the nut on the valve you are adjusting. you now take your .010mm feeler gauge and insert it in between the rocker arm and the valve tip. spin the square head until there is a little drag when sliding the feeler gauge. next you put your wrench on the locking nut and hold the square head from turning (you can use pliers on the square head if you are careful) and tighten the locking nut. THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT!!!! AlWaYs check your work here, be sure the feeeler gauge is not too tight or too loose after your adjustment!! repeat this whole procedure on the other rocker arm. install valve cover and your done!!
i has e gas engines and opates on one piston goes up down. loud is it. i Espainish and Englich be no good like one up down engine too loud and no go long, keep stopping wo not stay run. I go back to puerto rico soon but no engine.
the sheer pin is located on the blades and attaches the blades to the shaft. just push the pin in thru the blade hole and thru the shaft hole. then put the cotter pin or other pin that comes with the sheer pin to keep it from falling out
When an engine is in "idle" it is taking over by itself without any acceleration (or load) being applied. This the "idle RPM" would be the number of revolutions it makes per minute while running at "idle".
Using directions like upwards in this context is meaningless because you haven't defined how the piston is oriented.During the compression stroke of a typical 4-stroke gasoline engine, the piston takes energy from the crankshaft. The reason the whole scheme still works is that you get a lot more energy back after the combustion during the power stroke. Add up the total energy moved between the piston and the crankshaft over a whole cycle (two rotations of the crankshaft), and you will find the total being positive from piston to crankshaft.
There is no direct relationship between engine size (cc or ci ) and horsepower. Hprsepower is a final product of all an engines functions and can be high in small engines that are highly tuned , or low in larger engines that are untuned.
