Fuel pumps on Kia's are all very easy. Yours is located under your back seat. Remove your back seat and you will see a small plate with 4 screws. Remove this and you can get to the fuel pump lines and connectors. The fuel pump is also removed from that same access area.

In order to do the Alternator Belt, you have to remove the power steering and a/c belt first. To do so, first, loosen the pivot bolt on top of power steering pump, just behing the pulley. You will need to position the pulley just right in order to fit a socket through a hold in the pulley to loosen the bolt. Then there is a bracket nut almost directly below that back behind the belt, very difficult to get to, use a thin 10-12", 14 mm wrench to loosen. Next you need to loosen the the lock nut, it is located just behind the belt too, almost directly across from the bracket nut, very close to passenger headlamp, very difficult to get to, need a 3-4" in length 14 mm wrench for best maneuvering, then loosen the adjuster bolt. The power steering pully should pivot slightly to allow removal of old belt. Then you have to crawl under the car and loosen, not remove, the pivot bolt which sits directly under the alternator. Then from above loosen the lock bolt, and loosen the adjustor bolt. Alternator should give and you will be able to remove the old belt and replace with a new belt. After you have the belt in place, reverse these steps, tighten the adjuster bolt, tighten the lock bolt, then tighten the pivot bolt. Make sure that the belt gives 1/4". You don't want it to be too tight or too loose. Then put the power steering/ac belt in place and reverse the steps of the removal. Tighten the adjuster bolt, then the lock nut, bracket nut, then the pivot bolt. Good luck. It's not fun or easy.

Ignition coils are easily accessable on top of the engine. Disconnect the electrical connector, unscrew the bolts (2 per coil, torx T-25), pull the coil straight out. Cylinder numbers are: Pass side, front to back - 1, 3, 5. Driver side, front to back - 2, 4, 6.

Check the fuse and relay marked TNS. check fuse fuse panel is labled with each fuse if you checked the fuse + the relays and everything is ok, it's your (DRL unit)or if you prefer = minus 150$!! Good luck and don't worry, it's really easy to change except for where they put this small box. (behind left side of dash!!)

It sure is! It can be knocked lose by a passenger's foot. With the fan on (and the car) tighten it. If that doesn't work you may need a new one.

a speed sensor tells the vehicle computers how fast the vehicle is going, and also possibly operates the speedometer. If it is a wheel speed sensor it tells the anti-lock brake system how fast the individual wheel is turning and activates the anti-lock brakes in case of a skid.

yes i just did the same thing i had replaced my alternator etc and to my dismay the code light began to flash i simply googled it and found the website which told me to use override code #1111 and then press (sel) i hope this works for you as it worked for me .......good luck!!!!!!

It could possibly be a bad vacuum line connection. some cars use a vacuum powered motor to divert the air to different vents when you select them on the climate controls. With the car running, open the hood and listen for any hissing noises, like leaking air.If you dont find any leaks there, and you don't hear a hissing inside the car, you may possibly have bad ductwork in your car. if you find a vacuum leak,either replace the hose, or sometimes it iis as simple as pushing the hose back onto a fitting.

I asked this question the other day and nobody answered, so I figured it out myself.

The first thing you need to do is remove the rear seat cushion. To do this, run your fingers under the cushion and you'll find two release buttons. Push them both, and get that seat out of the way.

Next is to remove the side cushions underneath the seatbelt shoulder straps. You'll find a single bolt and washer in the lower corners of the side cushions. Remove the bolts and lift up on the cushions. Get those out of the way.

Now you gotta take out the third brake light. On both sides of the light, you'll find bulls-eye shaped fasteners. Using a screwdriver, push in the middle button and pull out the fasteners. Now you can remove the brake light casing. There are two bolts that hold the brake light to the back dash. Remove them, disconnect the wire and get that brake light outta the way.

To remove the back dash, there are two black screws along the front of the trim panel. Get those outta there along with the child seat restraints along the top.

Now grab that trim panel and pull it out of the way. You'll now see that the speakers are screwed in from the top down. Unscrew the speakers and pop in your new ones.

**Be aware that Kia uses a proprietary plug on the stock speakers. The positive is horizontal and the negative is vertical. I used a pair of scissors and pliers to break the plastic casing off the plug to expose the connectors that easily plugged directly into the speakers.**

Now do everything backwards and you're good to go. If you screw something up, I can't be held responsible.

Yes you can, but if you don't replace it with another one such as a Magna Flow or a High Flow Cat, you won't pass emissions If You don't care to pass emissions then go ahead. Don't forget to make it look like you have one or you can get a ticket.

You could possibly have a bad heater core. I would bring it in a shop and have it checked out

or your actuator for your blend door has gone bad.

YOUR IN LUCK! I JUST FIGURED OUT HOW TO RESET THE CLOCK IN MY MOTHER'S 99 KIA TODAY. WE'VE BEEN ADDING 6 HOURS AND SUBTRACTING 20 MINUTES FOR MONTHS. 1. PRESS THE "F" BUTTON , LIGHT WILL GO OFF. 2. HOLD CLOCK BUTTON IN UNTIL, HOUR DIGIT BEGINS TO FLASH. 3.ADJUST HOUR DIGIT BY TURNING RADIO TUNING KNOB. THEN PUSH IT IN, TO SET IT. CONTINUE SAME FOR MINUTES. GOOD LUCK

To change the transmission filter you have to drop the pan. The filter is located under the pan. When purchasing a filter they usually come with a new pan gasket.

I had a problem with my a/c fan. I took out the glove box and accessed the ac blower motor(on the passanger side). unbolt and remove. take a look at the motor brushes they may be covered in black. take the motor apart and clean brushes and contacts. Put everything back and it may work. It worked for me.

You have to remove the intake manifold to get to the 3 rear ones. Search this forum, this question has been answered at length with full description of step by step method.

Replace the resister, if that doesn't work replace the blower motor.

You can use 10w 30...But the guy at the auto shop said that you SHOULD use 5w 30.
