1. My wife has a 2000 S type with the factory phone option. It is a Motorola P8767 with service from Verizon. It is a digital phone but will only work with Verizon. I have been trying to find a phone compatible with Cingular service.
2. Go to Jaguar web site about Bluetooth Connectivity:
http://jaguar45.nextgen-technology.net/Vehicles/?culture=ae®ionID=2
You need to know last six characters of your VIN number to find the list of cell phones that work with your Jaguar communication system.
The Bluetooth® enabled telephone system is controlled from the steering wheel and from the Touch-screen. It allows the driver to make and receive calls safely and easily using a Bluetooth® compatible mobile phone handset without the need for wires or cradles. Different features will be available according to the mobile phone handset used. This area of the website is designed to help you get the best from the Bluetooth® system in the vehicle and get interactive help for your particular handset model.
Count flashes, for example three flashes and tree second pause and then three flashes and six seconds pause and starts again (it shows 5 times the fault code) indicates fault code 33 which means driver's side pretensioner self-test fault.
could be a number of things could be High Pressure Sodium usually referred to as HPS not type "S" but the ANSI coding for all HPS lamsp begins with "S" then numbers Type "S" could also refer to a small indicator lamp which is 6S6
I hate to answer a question with a question but why do you need to check it as it is a sealed unit and as per Jaguar does not need to be checked so they say.......
Having said that there is a Allen head screw on the right side about 3inches above drain plug. Take it off and see if fluid comes out if not add until it runs out and put Allen screw back in. No there is not a dip stick. To add fluid there is a rubber plug or Allen screw on top of tranny behind battery box. You will need a long funnel.

They kill with one powerful bite to the temporal bones of the skull.
They bite down on the prey's throat, right on the jugular, and that basically suffocates the prey
i heard that you disconnect the battery terminals from the battery and then touch the two DISCONNECTED teminals together for about a half hour.
Cylinder # 1, 2, 3 are on passenger side with # 1 being closest to front of car.
Usually with a reciprocating construction saw.
But this ruins the car so I only do it when we are cutting up a wreck.
If you are looking for how to modify the car I think it would be something that a trained professional should do.
look in the manual their aRE some instructions (u thick idiot)
From Barney100golf on Jaguarforum.co.uk - it saved me - thanks Barney
"If you've got Satnav then try holding down >>, AMEM & PTY together while the PIN screen is shown.
If that works then hold down EJECT & PTY at the same time & it should show you the PIN, not that you'll need it anymore.
If you don't have a Satnav then get onto a dealer with your VIN & proof of ownership, they should provide it at no cost."
If your oil level is where it should be and If it just for a short time yes, because the oil has not reached the top of the engine from the sump thus causing the noise due to lack of lubrication... It should go away in a matter of a few seconds as soon as there is oil flowing over the valve train and chains. If it is lasting more like a minute i would get concerned something is blocking the oil pick up tube or the oil pump is faulty and oil is not getting up as fast as it should. Just about all cars make a short ticking noise in the begginig especially if they are high on miles... The joy of hydraulic lifters! As it's a 2002 model it has probably been serviced using synthetic oils. If it's done over 60K miles it's probably worth getting an engine flush at the next service. Over time the lifters get 'sticky'. It is good for freeing the sediments from the oil galleries and bearing surfaces too.
the fuse is F16 under bonnet fuse box, dont know why keeps blowing?

Depends on what is wrong. I'd guess, however, that the problem is that you have stuffed your glove compartment too full and inadvertently depressed the "valet switch" button.
See Valet Switch in this forum.
* pull the ashtray out * undo the fixings behind the ashtray
* pull the panel above the radio (carefully)
* undo the fixings you see above the radio * pull radio and heating controls out * unplug
* wonder what you find to fill the big hole left
There is an 8mm plug on the passenger side of the transmission. Remove the plug and add fluid there until fluid is up to the bolt hole. Reinstall the plug.
