"There Are Worse Things I Could Do" is a song sung as a solo by Rizzo, the alpha femaleleader of the Pink Ladies near the climax of the story. Rizzo has missed a period and thinks she might be pregnant. Despite her tough exterior she feels quite insecure and vulnerable and does care what others think about her. Among the "worse things" she could do is "to cry in front of you" and show her weakness.

The musical "Grease" don't exactly use an orchestra of any type. An orchestra needs to have some sort of strings in order for it to be called an orchestra I believe (Ex. Violon, Viola, Chello, Bass.)
By being in the production of grease and listening to the Broadway sountrack, the band (or orchestra if you want it called that) can include...
Piano, Keyboard (Maybe 2 keyboards), Electric Bass, Electric Guitar, Alto/Tenor/Baritone Saxophone, Percussion (including drum set, chimes, xylophone and etc.
It was written in 1971, by Allan Carr, Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey
The first Broadway production of Grease opened on June 7, 1972. Broadway revivals also opened on May 11, 1994 and July 24, 2007.
Grease has also had five runs on London's West End and two U.S. national tours. The original production of Grease opened on Broadway on June 7, 1972 at the Broadhurst Theatre.
They go on a ferris wheel and kenicky shouts to rizzo to get of and then she replies back to him that it was a false alarm and that she isn't pregnant any more then they go aroung the fair groung kissing. And right at the very end they sing a song with there friends which is called were together!
Grease was released in 1978.
The not nearly so good Grease 2 with Michelle Pfeiffer was released in 1982
1978 Are you 100% sure?
Anything from the 50's to the early 60's: -
Poodle skirts, sweater twinsets, ponytails, bobby socks, saddle shoes. Neck scarves, tied at the side. Headbands with poofed hair, if it's not in a ponytail. For more casual, slim-fitting pants (not jeans) that go below the knee.
The different types of dancing used is hand jive dancing and swing dance- couples swing, spin and jumo together to fast pace music and it uses a lot of jazz steps.
For the 1971 play, Jim Jacobs wrote the characters of Sandy and Danny, and the storyline. He and Warren Casey wrote the songs.
John Kander and Fred Ebb wrote the musical Chicago (1975) which was rewritten in 1996 and became a big hit.

Sandy, after her transformation, said, "Tell me about it, Stud" to Danny. Danny had transformed to a jock to impress Sandy, while Sandy had transformed to a 'hottie' to impress Danny.
The Overture still takes place in the musical but also after the overture. Danny and Sandy come onstage and perform Sandy as a duet. But During the song the person performing as Sandy will sing Danny instead of Sandy and Danny will sing Sandy
