In order to enter the radio code 1992 Ford Laser radio, you need to do the following:

• Locate the car radio serial number
• Visit the website for the Ford Radio Code website
• Enter the serial number, the model, and the year of the Ford Laser radio
• Submit the information and the radio code will be displayed
• Enter the code into the Ford Laser radio

Once you have entered the code, you should be able to access the radio again. Make sure you write down the radio code so you don't have to enter it again in the future.

The crankshaft cog has a mark that lines up with the back housing for No.1 TDC. The cam cog has two marks that are put in the 3 o'clock position, the one at 12 o'clock lines up with the center mark on the front of the cam cover.

first pull the radio out of the car. then call the ford dealership and ask to speck to someone in parts then tell them and you will have to read the numbers off the back of the radio to them. if they cant do it over the phone take the radio and the car to ford and they will fix it.

The only specs I can give is the amount of metal removed during machining. There are two 'witness' marks on the surface, small round indentations about 5mm diameter and about 1mm depth. Usually the head can be machined to this depth on most motors. However, Ford stresses that on E3,E5,B6 motors the head should be machined enough to take out only slight warp as taking off too much changes the valve timing. Chris

Th easiest way to change the rotors on a 1990 Ford Festiva is to pay someone. However, remove the tire, remove caliper, remove the hub nut and washer. Remove the rotor from the CV axle. There four bolts on the back side of the rotor, but you may have to press out the rotor bearing.

A 1991 ford laser has an electronic ignition and it should be located on the rigt side of the engine bay. It is an 'A' shaped thing with a cable going to the distributor and black and white plugs underneath.

Remove #1 cylinder sparkplug and roll up some paper towel OR a napkin in your fingers and stick it in the hole. Turn the engine over until it POPS out. You will hear it ! That will let you know your on the compression stroke. Bring it all the way to TDC. Use somthing like a screwdriver to stick in the hole to make shure your up at TDC. You then can set the distributer to point at the #1 cylinder. Then follow around your firing order. Make shure your timing marks are correct and that they meet each other at 12:00 for crank and 6:00 for camshaft. Hope this helps!

I have changed the rear brake pads on my KJ2 1800 Laser today Jack it up - place supports to make it safe remove the tyres Using a 14mm socket remove the disc pad unit by undoing the two bolts holding it in place. I removed the retaining clip on the brake hose feeding the caliper in order to give a bit more room to handle the caliper On the back of the piston is a 14mm bolt Undo this and with an Allen key screw out the piston. Inside this short 14mm bolt hole is a stud type arangement with splines that fits in to the back of the brake piston. Be careful not to overdo the unscewing as the splines can shear off. This is the parking brake adjuster Once the piston is a far back as it can go unclip the retaining springs that separate the discs at each end- these are a W shape Emove the old pads, make sure the rotor is not scored, if it is it will need to be machined or replaced. Put the anti vibtration shims on the new pads. Put the new pads inside the caliper, replace the w springs that keep them apart. Refit the caliper to the wheel. Be careful not to get any grit inside the parking brake adjuster. Once you have fitted both sets of barkes adjust out the park brake until there is no slack of the pads on the rotor and the handbrake handle is firm. Make sure the wheels will turn. Refit wheels and away you go

You can check the automatic gearbox oil on a 1993 Ford Laser 1.5 using the oil stick.

through the spedo drive hole once the spedo drive removed.

If auto, the oil is added down the dip stick hole. If manual, the speedo drive is used as a measure. Fill 'till the oil covers the drive cog when the drive is used as a dip stick. Chris
