A relief painting is a type of artwork where the subject matter is raised or elevated from the background. An example of relief painting is Michelangelo's "David," which is a sculpture that features a three-dimensional form protruding from a flat background. This technique allows for a sense of depth and dimension to be added to the artwork.

Acrostic Poem for Internet?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

How to Write An Acrostic Poem:

Write the letters of your word or phrase down the left-hand side of your page, with one letter on each line. You can skip a line between letters if you want to leave room to write more than one word.

Now, think of words which begin with each letter - don't try to make a poem yet, just write down all the words you can think of which will describe or explain the internet. Use a thesaurus if you have trouble thinking of words! If you need more room, continue the list on another page!

Once you have a list, start thinking of how to write your poem. Which words or phrases are the best ones to describe or explain the internet? Which will make the clearest mental image? Which will make your readers understand the internet the best?

Nobody else can tell you what to write - poetry is your own emotion put onto the page! Click on the Related Questions for more help.

How do you make a hammock for a kid out of newspaper?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

To make a hammock for a kid out of newspaper, you can create a basic weave pattern by overlapping and interlocking strips of newspaper. Start by creating a sturdy base with wider strips, then weave thinner strips through to form the hammock surface. Secure the ends with tape or glue for added stability. Keep in mind the weight and size of the child when designing the hammock.

How do you put in the light bulb in an easybake ultimate oven?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

On the back of the oven you will notice a large screw above where the power cord enters the oven...Don't unscrew this one, (although it may make sense).

Instead, find the five Phillips head screws, (the ones in a cross pattern) that run along the back edges and unscrew those. From there, you can lift off the back panel which will give you access to the 100 watt lightbulb socket.

Remove the old bulb and replace with a 100 watt incandescent bulb. Do not use a 60 watt bulb because it will not be hot enough, or a 120 watt, because it may start a fire.

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE! Don't try to use a compact flourescent bulb (CFL) with a 100 watt output, because the same technology that allows it to save energy is the same that will prevent the oven from heating up. And if you put an LED bulb into the socket, you might as well be calling it the EASY-BAKE Room Temperatureizer.

How can you make a small replica of Mount Rushmore?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I don't know what age you are, but you can make it out of paper/glue (paper mache.) Take strips of paper and use slightly water-down glue you can get at any craft shop (the white glue that dries clear.) Let harden, and when shaped and finish then use craft paints to give it a more realistic look. Go onto the Internet and look up a picture of Mount Rushmore so you can get as much detail into your project as possible.

How do you make paper mache planets?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

You first get a square of cardboard as big as you like I recommend 30cm by 30cm and then get a kitchen towel tube and stick it in the middle of the cardboard with tape (to get the middle of the square draw straight lines from corner to corner were the middle of the cross is that will be the middle). Then cut strips of newspaper. When you have done that mix half and half of flour and water. Then scrunch up balls of newspaper and tape them around the kitchen towel tube until it takes shape (put 1 over the hole of the tube). When that's done paste your mixture all on your mountain then place one or two layers of newspaper strips every layer you put on leave it to dry over night. When your happy with the amount of layer you have put on and its all dry paint it. Optional for extra detail you can put on fake grass at the bottom. If you want to make it shiny put one layer of pva glue around the mountain and there you go you have got a Model of Mount Olympus.

How do you make a model of an escalator from construction paper?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The simplest thing to do is to make accordian pleats in the paper first. Now cut the "escalator" to the right scale(size) and make two thin kidney bean shapes for the hand rails. Make little tabs on the "up" "stairs" to glue the "escalator" to the kidney bean shape. Glue the stairs to the rails and let them dry. Stand the escalator upright and get a small stick to hold it under one of the stairs. Get play dough blobs to anchor the stick to the model and the stairs.

Can you use black construction paper for a Lite Brite?

User Avatar

Asked by Tehvpn

It probably won't work very well; most printer paper lets too much light through. Dark colored specialty papers might work, particularly if they're on the heavy side (approaching cardstock). Alternatively, you could just use black construction paper.
