Was Cary Grant ever in a Western?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The film closest to the "western" genre, that had Cary Grant onscreen, would have been _The Howards of Virginia_, which took place on the U.S. western frontier. At that time that would have been the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, so this movie may (or may not) count.

The plot of _Gunga Din_ could have taken place -- and was remade -- as a western, but this film was an adventure in colonial India.
