You should consider stopping if the drinking is causing problems in your life and you find that you are continuing to drink anyway, or if you have reached a point where you find yourself trying to control your drinking.

Healthy drinkers do not have problems from their drinking, nor do they feel the need to control it.

If you are an occasional drinker who does not get drunk, there is no reason you should stop.
