NO! Sociology has shown that earrings in the past did serve as an indicator into ones sexual prowess, however there has been a shift in recent years that has completely debunked the stereotypical mindset. In the roaring 70s it was considered a sign that you were cool if a man wore an earring in the left ear. During the 80s if a single earring was worn in the right ear it signified one was homosexual. This has changed in recent years with the advent of bling and flash into woman's and Man's wardrobe. Judgment from plebeian closed minded people will exist until education improves.
Both ears pierced today, 2011 means absolutely no more than a simple statement of individualism.

The ear pierce hole never becomes permanent, it can grow in at anytime, but not in like only 2 nights. But if you don't have earrings in for about 2 months it can grow in....so don't worry about not having earrings in for a little while but it would be a good choice to have earrings in every once in a while!
