No, they do not. Any icon that resembles the Apple Company and shows a pear as their logo (thus, the pear company) is not realistic. Because many TV shows and movies need permission to use licensed products (i.e. Nike, Apple, etc.), it is much easier to create a knock-off where everyone will still know what it is.

∙ 12y agoPear phones are not real. They were created by Dan Schnieder to replace the iPhone for his shows, iCarly and Victorious. Pear is used instead of Apple in order to avoid copyright infringement or payment of royalties.

Since TV shows can't use real company names unless they sign a contract or something, they made their phones in a shape of a pear. Pretty much a Parody of the iPod. Icarly and Victorius calls them the pearpod
