A Superstore is a much larger department store selling general merchandise. A Hypermarket is the same, but also sells grocery products. Your probably confused, because Wal-Mart calls their hypermarkets Supercenters and Target calls theirs SuperTargets, but they, in a sense, should be called Hypercenter or HyperTarget. I guess Super sounds better than Hyper.
