If you're referring to the sugar pills or 7 day break then this is normal. If not then no it isn't normal. If you've missed pills then you will experience break through bleeding.
usually 1 week worth of pills that are missed..i know i am on them
Yes, many women stop menstruating while taking BC pills.
you should be having a full period if you miss more than three days
If you miss 3 or more pills it can cause you to have a period even thought its the 2nd period that month. This is because you missed pills. Missing pills puts you at high risk of pregnancy and problems in your cycle and how well the pill will prevent pregnancy.
NO this is not normal.... See a bloody doctor ASAP!!
Hi :-) Yes, this is normal. There is no time limit for when you start your period during the sugar pills. As long as you start your period during the seven day worth of sugar pills then this is normal.
While the birth control pill tends to make your period more regular, it can also cause a missed or late period. If you haven't missed any pills, there's no special need to worry about pregnancy. If you've missed pills, or if it's your second missed period in a row, take a pregnancy test and contact your health care provider.
When do you start a new pack of birth control pills if you stopped in the middle of the previous pack and missed 3 pills then started period?
Yes, as soon as you stop that close to the final 28 days of pills your period will start. You can manipulate your pills that way. When I was on them I would do that. It seems like you are forgetting your pills. To avoid doing that start taking them the same time every day.
I'm on Loestrin and have just missed my first period on it in three years...but three weeks ago I missed three pills and had to double up a few days to get back on track. I have a period then and now apparently I cant have one at the normal time. However, you should contact your gynocologist.
Hi there, There is a slim chance of getting pregnant because you missed two pills. Because you missed some pills your next period will probably arrive two days later than normal for you. This is to be expected. But if you suspect pregnancy go to your doctor for a blood test. :-)
