"Smoke too much and too often your short term memory goes, your hormones become out of balance, and you become addicted. Yes, you can become addicted. It effects your whole body."
Don't listen to that guy. The only people that become "addicted" to marijuana are weak minded people that have a habit of blaming other thing on his/her problems. I first smoked weed when I was 12. Since them I have smoked many times, but can easily go without smoking. I choose to smoke weed if I have spare time and a little extra money.
This is what happened to me the first time i smoked weed. Four of my friends got together and bought at least 3 ounces of good stuff. Since it was my first time they let me take the first hits of every bowl we smoked. The first hit is always strongest. My friends say I hit surprisingly well for a first timer. When I held the smoke in, I immediately felt my body relax. When I passed it to my friend, I moved slower than I expected. My friend said, "feels good right?" and I couldn't help but smile and nod my head. I became more aware of little details on the things I looked at. It is true that you tend to lose track of time, because the next thing I realized was my friend was waiting for me to take another hit. after a the second bowl was cashed, I was REALLY high. My friend turned on some music, which was quite a trip. The songs were slower than normal. It was like I felt the beat of the music hit my body. At this point my lungs felt tingely or static. I could feel my lungs inside my body, like there was no other organs in me. After the fourth bowl we stopped because appearently I was to high to take a hit. The room became brighter, it looked like the sun had just risen and was lighting the room. I had several laughing fits over things my friends said or thing I would try to say. I realized I how high I was when my friend said "how wants some McDonalds" and I almost jump up. We spent the rest of the day walking around town (almost getting hit by cars and running into joggers). It was dark out when we started heading home. Suddenly a cop flashed his lights, which scared me. I was almost shaking when he drove up to us. Fortunatly he was just telling us to go home for curfew. I felt the weird for the next couple of days, like I was still kinda high.
Everyone had different experiences. This is what usually happens to me when I get high (minus the cops).
