what i would do is just ask him out yourself not by anybody else or your friends do it yourself and just be strong and if he says no just be calm and say well i will just be really sad for the rest of my life and then go to a group of friends and act like your having a really good time and then he might talk to you a little more and then he might ask you out and a later point of time and then you say yes/no and there you go

Talk to him. Be friendly and just a wee bit flirtatious, but don't overdo it! Guys don't generally care for overly aggressive females as that can be misconstrued as insecurity or looseness. Get to know his interests and spark up a conversation about something he can relate to. If he's into music, ask him about his favorite band. Well you shouldn't try to ask them out in a way to make it so they CANT say no, but if you were to, I would say if you are at the movies and in the middle of the movie you ask them im sure they wouldn't say no...how awkward would it be if they said no and you both just sat there for the rest of the movie?
