Most, if not all casinos will not allow you to buy chips with a credit/debit card since it is a very high risk most casinos won't take (You could simply default on your payments and the casino just lost money) and also your average person has a quite low credit limit.
Instead they let you use an ATM to make a cash advance or cashback on a debit card. If you are a high roller (Meaning you bet very big) most casinos will give you a line of credit which is basically like the credit limit on your credit card except it's the casino's money that you will have to pay back before leaving.
Now if it happens to be an online casino, yes, they will allow you to use a credit card but rather than paying when you're done, they force you deposit money into your online account before being able to gamble.
