Sometimes homophobia is what psychologists call projection. The one person is gay so they project that hate of themselves onto other gay guys. This very well could be. However sometimes they are just being mean. Nothing is set in stone.
In any case the bullying, taunting, and teasing should be brought to an immediate halt.
