^^^This is incorrect. It depends on the size and placement. I have two inner forearm tattoos that have been unaffected by weight lifting. If you have something like a full back tattoo or a band, it won't matter how long you wait, it WILL stretch as your muscles grow.

∙ 13y agoYou can go running the next day. Proper cleansing afterward of course, and I wouldn't wear any clothing that is going to irritate it; other than that your good to go.

∙ 15y agoDepending on where the tattoo was applied to your body. Treat this tattoo like an injury. A bad scrape or scratch. Keep antibiotic ointment on it, you should be fine to do your normal things.
