Many hot tubs will not go higher than 104 degrees, which will feel really hot but soothing when you get in. You will feel you might need to leave the tub after 20 minutes or so.

∙ 12y agoHot tub sizes range from 2 person hot tubs all the way to 8 person hot tubs or even larger ones. 2 person spas are the smallest type and are generally oval and most are plug and play, so no electrican is needed - they just plug into a standard 110v power outlet. The larger ones require a 50 or 60 amp breaker and 230v wiring installed by an electrician.

The length, width and height are given as an exterior measurement, but to really know how much room you will have, you should also compare the amount of water the spa holds, as some have false bottoms that make the spa look high outside, but the footwell inside is shallow.
Measurements of the spa can be as small as to accommodate 1 person or as big as for 8 persons or more.
