Right click on the picture, and then "save" it on your computer. You can then load it into any application on your computer, or just keep it in your folder.
In addition Facebook gives you a tool to download a copy of all your information including photos, videos, posts, messages, friends lists and more.
You can get to this tool via My account >> settings.

∙ 9y agoTo save a photo from Facebook to your laptop, simply place the cursor over the photo and right click your mouse or keypad. A drop down bar will appear. Click on the "Save picture as" option and choose the destination folder you would like to save the photo in.
