Step 2: Add that person to the contacts app on your iPod touch with the email address.
Step 3: Make sure you are both connected to wifi
Step 4: Open the facetime app, select their contact and press the button labelled FaceTime.
Step 5: Enjoy facetime!

∙ 12y agoif you have an iphone:you go to your contacts and select face time and it will pop up just like you are receiving a call if you have an ipad: there should be an application that you would click on but to answer it, it will just pop up. the same this follows for the ipod touch. you must have a ipod touch with a camera and an ipad two or three and have an iphone 4 or 4s to have facetime. there is no app to download facetime

Of course you can! Just make sure both devices have the facetime accounts set up and make sure they are both connect to a wifi. It should work fine after this.

The first time you open facetime you will have to set it up. You need to enter your email and stuff. When finished, for someone to call on facetime they have to enter your email address that is registered on your ipod. It should work!
