There is sometimes a decrease in efficacy of the antibiotic if you use alcohol while also on antibiotics. Moderation is the key. Also, many medications are cleared by the liver, Doxy isn't one of them, so to also use alcohol can put a strain on the liver. I think you should be able to do without a drink for 10 days! I mean really!
