If it is done properly, a spayed cat no longer has uterus or ovaries. There is no place for the kittens to grow. If a spayed cat has gotten pregnant, then the spaying was done incorrectly or incompletely.

∙ 16y agoYes, they can. Mine just did a few months ago. She ate a poisonous lizard and that caused her to miss carry. Not only if they eat something bad but just like humans, if the body detects that something is wrong with the pregnancy it will miscarry.

∙ 12y agoyes they can the cat could have been poked in the stomach, yes this is a problem because the kittens are very sensitive so anything could go wrong the way to check to see if your cat has not misscarried lift her stomach up from the bottom not to hard but just enough to feel if the kittens are kicking if they aren't she most likely miscarried if not the babies are sleeping well that's the end of my knowledge only the pros can help you if you need more extent
