There are three types of muscle, Smoothe, Skeletal and Cardiac. Smooth muscle is the type that is found in the viscera of the body and is involved in all the actions we do not have time to think about all the time so is under the control of the Autonomic Nervous System. The skeletal muscle is the type that moves the joints asn is named fof its connection to the bones of the body which skeletal muscles act on. This is the type that is involved in the finer actions that you must think about to perform and so these are the muscles under conscious control. The cardiac muscle is similar to the skeletal muscle in structure but is can generate its own rhythmic contraction under the influence of autonomic nervous action
You have three muscle types: cardiac (heart), smooth (mostly in blood vessels and digestive system) and the skeletal muscles. These are under voluntary control. The others work even if you don't thing about them. That is a good thing since your heart beats 60 – 100 times per minute.
why couldnt the pelecon eat at the resturant. because his bill was to big
The kind of muscle which contracts during unconsious action is heart tissue.
Skeletal muscles are under conscious control.
Skeletal muscles
Involuntary
Cerebellum
Skeletal muscles are under voluntary control; smooth muscles and cardiac muscles aren't.
somatic nervous system
The straight answer is YES. You can try it yourself by closing one eye and making the computer screen blurry (thats your ciliary muscle working). However the muscle's primary control is involuntary (you may find yourself fighting it as you try to make the screen blurry). There is debate about the topic because it is a smooth muscle and it is innervated by autonomic nerves, both of which are typically exclusively involuntary. Also be careful: on exams answer NO, since typical questions will be asking for the primary function.
The epidermis is the layer of skin visible to the eye. Underneath is the subdermis (bleeds when you scrape yourself), then depending on the area of the body, the next layers are fat, muscle, tendons, bones, etc.
Voluntary motions are completely under the control of an organism like walking, jumping etc but Involuntary motions are completed without any conscious recognition and effort of organism like heart beat and reflex actions. Not quite the same as conscious versus unconscious.
skeletal muscle tissue
A voluntary muscle performs movement on command. Involuntary muscle performs with out conscious command.
Skeletal muscle
yes it is.....
The skeletal muscle covers and clings to the body skeleton. It is responsible for body movement and is voluntary because it is under our conscious control unlike the cardiac muscle which is responsible for the heart beat
Skeletal muscles are the only type of muscle in the body under conscious control.
The uterus is made up of smooth, or involuntary, muscle. It is not under conscious control.
Involuntary muscles are not under you conscious control they are responsible for essential activities such as breathing and digesting food. Voluntary muscles are under your conscious control smiling, turning a page in a book are controlled by voluntary muscles.
Skeletal Muscle tissue is the only tissue that responds to voluntary movement. Smooth and Cardiac muscle tissue are controlled by the central nervous system.
Heart has cardiac tissue. It is striated like skeletal muscle, but is under control of the autonomic nervous system.
Visceral muscles, which are under involuntary control, come in two forms. They are the smooth muscle tissue and cardiac muscle tissue, found only in the heart.
The terms voluntary and automatic have opposite meanings. If a muscle is voluntary that means that it is under conscious control, rather than operating automatically.
