Disconnect the battery, remove the cover, remove the spark plug cables and boots, then remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, replace the cables and boots, replace the cover and connect the battery.
you HAVE to remove the intake manifold to change the spark plugs. If you aren't comfortable with this, you should take it to an authorized repair shop and have them do it. It is a 3.5 rocks out of 5 on the hardness scale.
to change the plugs you must take off the spark plug boots..you then take the spark plugs out with a 5/8 sparkplug socket..put the new plugs in the holes and finger tighten them a little(with the socket and extension so that it doesnt cross thread)it might also be wise to replace the wires if they look bad or cracked..
to change the spark plugs...they have a special tool you by and you pull the wires off then you stick the tool down inside and you unscrew them and the install the others! on this vehicle you have to remove the coil pack on the back of the engine to get to the rear plugs to do this take the four bolts off the coil pack and simply move it out of the way to access the plugs
