If you lost your speeding ticket, it is still very important that you take care of the fine. Contact your local police department or your local courthouse, whichever is more applicable in your town or city. One of them will know what to tell you to do next. The record still exists, and you can still access it.

You can be arrested for unpaid tickets if your state issues suspensions for them. In New York, if you fail to answer a ticket your license will be suspebded. So if you get caught driving with a suspended license...you get arrested.

It stays on forever. You have a record and if you don't pay it you might go to jail. Your record is something where how many times you have got pulled over, or like how many times you go to jail.

Pay it or face the consequences. Contact the Court Clerk of your local traffic court for information as to how to go about it.

Possibly. It depends on the court and the state. Usually they will suspend your drivers license and also issue a warrant.
