How many mpg does the 1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic get?

I have a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0, All of my maintance is done as soon as it reaches the date or mileage to be done or it does not move. I get 30 MPG from Dallas, TX - Haskell, TX. With a full tank and 26 with half.

EPA estimates 15mpg in the city and 19mpg on the highway for the 4.0L inline six cylinder. I, in fact have a 4 door, 4 wheel drive Laredo and it only seems to get 12-14mpg in the city.

if its a real Jeep and by that i mean lifted you no longer really have an mpg rating. its more like watching the gauge go from full to empty really fast :)

i own one...it runs good and gets between 12 and 15 mpg depending on how heavy you are on the pedal.....i would say around 13 on average.. i have a jeep chorkee classic a 98 and i get 22

I've had mine since day one. It's got 130,000 miles on her and I'm getting around 18 to 20 mpg. (4.0 litre)

that depends on a lot of things but mine in the rough shape it is in gets about 23-25 MPG
